The Best Connection is recruiting a Warehouse Assistant for Manor Royal, Crawley, in the Warehousing and Logistics sector. The role covers unloading deliveries, scanning items, and moving them within a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

The Best Connection are proudly recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant to join our busy client in Manor Royal, Crawley, operating within the Warehousing and Logistics industry.

Location: Manor Royal, Crawley

Industry: Warehousing and Logistics

Hours for Warehouse Assistant : Sunday to Friday based, with working hours generally 12:30 to 20:30, including a 30-minute unpaid break

Pay: £13.04 an hour

Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Assistant:

• Unloading incoming deliveries safely and efficiently
• Scanning deliveries accurately to ensure all items are entered into the warehouse system
• Moving items to the appropriate sections within the warehouse
• Sorting and organising parcels and deliveries ready for further processing
• Loading deliveries ready to be transported to the next hub or delivered to customers
• Working efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Ensuring items are processed accurately and moved to the correct areas
• Working closely with other team members to meet daily targets
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Complying with Health and Safety procedures at all times

Requirements of the Warehouse Assistant:

• Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting and manual handling throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail to ensure all items are scanned and processed correctly
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Able to follow instructions and work efficiently to meet deadlines
• Good understanding of workplace Health and Safety practices
• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is desirable but not essential
