Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a Warehouse Assistant for our busy client in Manor Royal, Crawley, in the Warehousing and Logistics sector. You will be involved in unloading deliveries, scanning items, and moving goods within the warehouse during a Sunday to Friday shift from 12:30 to 20:30.

Pay is £13.04 an hour with a focus on accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential, and the role emphasises reliability,

Qualifications

• Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure all items are scanned and processed correctly.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Good understanding of workplace Health and Safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Unloading incoming deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Scanning deliveries accurately to ensure all items are entered into the warehouse system.
• Moving items to the appropriate sections within the warehouse.
• Sorting and organising parcels and deliveries ready for further processing.
• Loading deliveries ready to be transported to the next hub or delivered to customers.
• Working efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ensuring items are processed accurately and moved to the correct areas.
• Working closely with other team members to meet daily targets.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
• Complying with Health and Safety procedures at all times.

Hours for Warehouse Assistant : Sunday to Friday based, with working hours generally 12:30 to 20:30, including a 30-minute unpaid break

Pay: £13.04 an hour
