Job summary

Wellbore Integrity Solutions in Aberdeen is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support warehouse and workshop tool flow. You will load/unload trucks, book in tools, clean tools, and match tools to shipping tickets while providing forklift support across workshops.

The role requires 3+ years in a busy workshop, valid forklift license, and OH crane certificate. You will work independently and contribute to continuous improvement, ensuring safety and efficiency in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years’ experience in a busy workshop environment.
• Must hold a valid Forklift License.
• Must hold a valid OH crane certificate.
• Must be able to work on their own initiative.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Personally committed to continuous improvement.
• Listens and communicates effectively with supervisors and peers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in tool-box meetings with all members of the warehouse team.
• Fully comply with QHSE policies and wear PPE at all times.
• Maintain equipment in safe order and report issues to supervisor.
• Perform daily forklift checks and OH crane checks.
• Carry out general forklift duties and loading/unloading.
• Process incoming goods and mobilise equipment.
• Load/unload cargo baskets.
• Source tools per shipping tickets.
• Perform additional tasks to support efficiency.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Assistant is heavily involved in all workflow processes found within the warehouse and workshops for all of the fishing & remedial tools and related equipment. They will be responsible for loading / unloading trucks, booking in tools, cleaning tools using pressure washer unit and pulling the correct tools to match operations shipping ticket. They will also be expected to load / unload baskets of tools. Warehouse Assistants offer key forklift support to all workshops in order to keep tools flowing consistently throughout workshops. Service quality, job preparation, planning and safety are key priorities.

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Participate in tool-box meetings with all members of the warehouse team.
• Always fully compliant with the requirements of the QHSE policies, standards, and wears required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintaining all equipment in good, safe working order according to standards and reports any problem or deviation to warehouse supervisor.
• Performing daily maintenance checks to forklifts and OH cranes.
• Carrying out general forklift duties.
• Incoming goods process / mobilisation of equipment.
• Loading / Unloading Cargo Baskets.
• Sourcing Tools as per shipping tickets.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support operational efficiency.
