Job summary

Castle View Personnel Ltd is seeking a proactive Warehouse Operator in Inverness to support loading and unloading, stock organisation, and yard safety. You will help keep the site clean, coordinate with drivers, and ensure efficient stock control on a daily basis.

The role involves outdoor work in all weather conditions, use of forklift equipment, and daily checks on machinery and tools to maintain safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy yard, warehouse, or transport environment.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Safety knowledge; First aid or health and safety certification preferred.

• Arrange, stack, and rotate construction materials
• Housekeeping & Safety: Keep the yard clean and position safety signs, barriers, or fencing as required.
• Equipment Checks: Perform daily or routine safety and maintenance checks on machinery, tools etc
• Receive deliveries, check items against delivery notes or purchase orders, and inspect goods for damage or missing parts.
• Update stock levels, record movement logs, and assist with periodic stock-takes or cycle counts.
