Job summary

Travail Employment Group is recruiting an Administrator in Harrogate for a warehouse operations team. The role is office-based with training provided and a view to permanent for the right candidate. Start week of 17th August with potential progression and excellent benefits.

You will handle office administration, stock control, planning deliveries, and liaise with internal departments. Previous admin experience is essential and Excel skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the operational warehouse processes.
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure the correct teams have all the necessary tools and equipment required to do their job.
  • Daily and weekly stock and inventory management.
  • Planning deliveries and liaising with external couriers, ensuring deliveries arrive on time.
  • Planning weekly schedules to ensure all stock movements are planned accordingly.
  • Managing all the general and recyclable waste ensuring collections are made on time.
  • Tool maintenance - responsible for repairs, ordering new supplies, calibrations and testing of all tools and equipment.
  • Preparation of fleet stock - ensuring all new vehicles are equipped with a full set of tools and equipment.
  • Sales stock - ensuring there is enough sample units of all products for sales managers.
  • Maintaining stock records and updating when new lines are added.
  • Quarterly stock takes to ensure there are no discrepancies.
  • Assisting the warehouse team with any extra dispatch requirements.

We are currently recruiting an administrator to work in this well established warehouse operations team. You will work in a bright modern office alongside a friendly and experienced team. Full training will be given for this interesting and varied operational administration role.

We are looking for someone to start on a temporary basis initially with a view to go permanent for the right candidate. We will be interviewing the week commencing 17th August so you must be available to interview this week.

You will work for a market leading company based just on the outskirts of the famous spa town of Harrogate. You will work in a state of the art, modern environment with a great team of people who really look out for each other. The reason for this Administrator vacancy is the current post holder is relocating out of the area. This role is predominantly office based administration tasks supporting the operational warehouse processes, however you will also be expected to liaise with internal departments across the business which will mean you will be up and about talking to people in different teams. You will also assist with various manual warehouse operations in peak times, such as end of month.

This administrator role would suit someone who has worked as a scheduler, planner, warehouse administrator, stock administrator, dispatch coordinator or similar.
