Job summary

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client, a multi-award-winning office machine distributor, for a Warehouse Operative to join their team on a temporary basis in Plympton.

The role covers picking/packing, loading/unloading, stock movement and general housekeeping. You will work Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, earning £12.80 per hour. Forklift experience is advantageous and on-site parking is provided.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse or stores experience required.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
• Able to work independently when needed.
• Strong team player with proactive attitude.

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client, a multi-award-winning office machine distributor, for a Warehouse Operative to join their successful and friendly team on a temporary basis.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, including:

• Picking and packing orders
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Stock handling and movement
• General warehouse housekeeping
• Supporting the wider warehouse team to ensure smooth operations

Previous warehouse experience is essential, and a valid forklift licence would be advantageous.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment
• Be physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
• Be able to work independently when required
• Enjoy working as part of a team
• Take pride in their work and contribute positively to a high-performing warehouse operation
