An exciting opportunity has arisen for a conscientious and supportive administrator to join our busy and dedicated team based on Farnham ward based at Lanchester Road Hospital.
Lanchester Road Hospital supports individuals with acute mental illnesses. Farnham ward is an 20-bed male acute ward providing acute assessment and treatment to males from the age of 18 with no age cap.
As the ward team administrator, you will work in an office at the centre of a ward with another admin colleague. The office is an area of high activity, and no two days are the same. If you are looking for a new challenge, enjoy variety in your work and are looking to be part of a team striving to make a difference, we will welcome your application for this role.
You must have the Right to Work in the UK in order to be successfully appointed to this role. Please note, this role does not meet the required eligibility criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa and therefore the Trust is unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
Whilst having previous experience in an administrative role is essential, NHS or other health care experience is not. We are first and foremost looking for individuals with a passion for people, customer service experience, an interestin working in a health care setting and a 'can do' attitude.
The Ward Team Administrator role is pivotal in the day-to-day operations of the ward teams. As part of this role, you will work closely with the Nursing team, Consultants, Medics and the wider older adult's inpatient team to provide the best possible care to the service user(s).
We are looking for someone who is able to multitask in a busy environment, communicate confidently, prioritise their workload, meet deadlines and build strong working relationships with a variety of people.
