Birmingham: The Harborne Hospital
Full time: Monday – Sunday 37.5 hours per week
Shift times: Flexible to work, long days, nights and weekends based on internal rotation.
Permanent Contract: Salary: competitive (DOE) plus 9% shift allowance
We’re looking for a Sister/Charge Nurse (Band 7) to join our Surgical Inpatients team at the Harborne Hospital.
The Harborne Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK, is a new £100 million, purpose-built 50-bed, multi-specialty private hospital located on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus. It offers comprehensive clinical pathways across various specialties including Cardiology, Cancer, and Complex Surgery.
This role is ideal for an experienced nurse with skills in General surgery, aiming to lead and provide outstanding patient care. The ward is a 12-bed multidisciplinary surgical ward covering GI, Gynae, orthopaedics, breast, spinal, liver, and more.
The charge nurse will collaborate with the manager and matron to deliver high-quality, innovative nursing practices aligned with HCA’s mission, national guidelines, and standards.
