Job summary

The Lancaster Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Wards team. This full-time role is 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern covering days, nights and weekends.

Key duties include delivering direct nursing care, assessing needs, maintaining documentation, and supporting patients and families. Staff benefits include pension and private healthcare, with a focus on professional development.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Understanding of clinical governance and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient in IT systems for patient records and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with care plans.
• Assess patient needs and update care plans.
