Job summary

The Lancaster Hospital, part of Circle Health Group Limited, is hiring a Registered Nurse (Adult) to join the Wards team in a full-time, permanent role at 37.5 hours per week. The position requires covering days, nights and weekends with a flexible shift pattern.

Salary is up to £34,900 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications. Benefits include extensive holiday entitlement, private pension and healthcare, family discounts, life insurance, and access to staff development

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Good understanding of patient safety and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and protocols.
• Assess patient needs, prioritise care, and update care plans.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation including assessments and observations.
• Communicate with patients, families, and carers with empathy and clarity.
• Support patients in understanding their condition, treatments and recovery.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality, safe care.
• Identify and report incidents and safeguarding concerns in line with procedures.
