Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales is seeking a Ward Manager for an open ward in the Ablett Unit within the Central Area Mental Health Team. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, safety and experience while coordinating staffing and ensuring training and policy compliance.

The post holder will lead ward staff, monitor sickness absence and performance, and oversee medicines and budget management in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Quality, Safety and Experience of patients; line management of ward staff; ensuring training is completed; delivery of Health Board Policies and Procedures; monitor sickness absence, conduct and performance.
• Responsible for the operational management of the ward, service delivery of care, development and evaluation of care programmes and setting standards of care, medicines management and budget management.
