Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales is seeking a Ward Manager for an open ward in the Ablett Unit within the Central Area Mental Health Team. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, safety and experience while coordinating staffing and ensuring training and policy compliance.

The post holder will lead ward staff, monitor sickness absence and performance, and oversee medicines and budget management in an inpatient setting.

Job Overview

The post holder will line manage ward staff and ensure that all discipline appropriate and other core and essential training is completed. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of Health Board Policies and Procedures, and monitor sickness absence, conduct and performance.

The Central Area Mental Health Team is looking to appoint a Ward Manager for an open ward in the Ablett Unit. You will be responsible for the Quality, Safety and Experience of our patients whilst also ensuring that we have the right staff in the right place at the right time.

We are looking for a highly visible and engaging Ward Manager to work within the Inpatient Unit who is dedicated to ensuring that the services we provide meet the expectations of the population that we serve.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
