Job summary

BETSI CADWALADR UNIVERSITY HEALTH BOARD in North Wales is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to cover a busy surgical/medical escalation ward as Ward Manager. You will lead the ward team, oversee care planning, and ensure delivery of high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires substantial post-registration experience in acute settings and strong leadership skills to supervise staff, drive service improvements, and uphold the organisation's values.

Responsibilities

• You will carry overall continuing responsibility for the management and leadership of the ward including administration and the overall co-ordination, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and the setting and auditing of standards of care.
• Lead a team of highly qualified nurses to ensure we deliver excellent patient care
• Be accountable for the quality of care delivered within clinical area by nursing
• Work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to develop services provided for patients within clinical areas
