Ward Manager, Band 7 (Full Time)

We are seeking an inspired individual with Cardiology experience to lead our 3D Cardiology Ward. This role is suitable for senior nurses looking to advance their leadership and managerial careers. It offers a unique opportunity to apply your expertise to ensure a safe and compassionate patient experience while maximising capacity utilization through innovative approaches.

You will lead staff members to deliver high-quality care in our 29-bedded cardiology ward, which cares for inpatients and inter-hospital transfers from other hospitals. Our 24/7 catheterisation labs provide world-renowned emergency care to cardiology patients. You will work with a team of highly competent Band 6 nurses and collaborate with peers from other cardiology wards and the senior nursing team to achieve the Trust’s vision.

The role provides an opportunity to ensure patients receive high-quality care and smooth daily patient flow through the third floor. The post holder will proactively lead and manage the nursing team, helping them achieve their aspirations. You will actively contribute to realizing the service vision and key targets by working closely with service leads. The ward manager will partner with peers to drive incremental innovation for a safe and compassionate patient experience.
