Job summary

Forest Care Selection is recruiting a Ward Manager (RGN/RMN) to oversee daily ward operations within a specialist maternal health service in the UK. You will lead nursing and support staff, ensuring high standards of care and governance, while coordinating rotas and contributing to governance meetings.

The role requires an active RGN or RMN qualification with NMC PIN and prior experience in leading nursing teams in a similar environment.

Qualifications

• Nursing qualification (RGN/RMN) and current NMC PIN.
• Experience leading nursing teams, ideally within a similar setting.
• Proven clinical competency and regulatory compliance with NMC.

Ready to lead a well-established, Good-rated service? Forest Care Selection is working with a specialist provider of Mental Health and ABI services to find its next Ward Manager.

You'll oversee the day to day management of one of this providers specialist wards.

What you'll do:

• Manage the day to day activities of the ward and it's operations.
• Lead, train, supervise and appraise all nursing and support staff for the ward.
• Coordinate staff rotas and input into Clinical Governance meetings.

What you'll bring:

• Nursing qualification RGN/RMN
• Experience of leading nursing teams and ideally within a similar setting
• NMC PIN
