As a key member of the Ward Clerk team, you will provide comprehensive clerical and support services to the ward. Ward Clerks are vital to ward operations, supporting each other, the ward staff, and the service. Effective communication and knowledge sharing enhance team efficiency and quality of work, fostering respect and support to achieve common goals.
You should be able to work as part of a busy team, independently, handle unpredictable working patterns, and meet challenging deadlines.

More about the role:
The ward clerk will be based on Caroline Thorpe ward, an 18-bed unit. The post holder will handle all administrative tasks and work as part of the team. To meet service needs, the post holder may be required to work on other wards as directed by the ward or senior manager on duty.
Qualifications required include a good standard of education, relevant keyboard qualifications such as ECDL or RSA, and NVQ 2 in Business Administration or Customer Care, or equivalent experience.
Working Pattern: 30 hours per week
