Role Summary
As a key member of the Ward Clerk team, you will provide a comprehensive clerical and support service to the ward. Ward Clerks are essential for supporting ward operations, ensuring effective communication, and sharing knowledge to improve team efficiency and quality of work.
You will be able to work as part of a busy team, work independently, adapt to unpredictable working patterns, and meet challenging deadlines.

The ward clerk will be based on Caroline Thorpe ward, a bedded unit. The post holder will handle all administrative tasks and work as part of the team. The post may require working on other wards as directed by the ward or senior manager.
The candidate should have a good standard of education, relevant keyboard qualifications such as ECDL, RSA, and NVQ 2 Business Administration/customer care or equivalent experience.
