Job summary

Primrose Ward is a busy Older Peoples Mental Health inpatient service where the Ward Clerk provides essential administrative support to the Ward Manager, Clinical Lead Nurse, Matron and the multidisciplinary team.

You will oversee smooth information flow on the ward, act as a key contact for patients, families and external professionals, maintain accurate records and coordinate ward activity, meetings and communications in line with Trust standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee smooth information flow on the ward and act as a key contact for patients, families and external professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure documentation is up to date in line with Trust standards.
• Coordinate ward activity, arrange meetings, prepare paperwork, manage diaries and ensure timely communication of essential information.
