Job summary

Explore Learning in Walsall is seeking a dedicated Maths and English Tutor to deliver engaging sessions for children aged 4-16. You will use Compass to tailor lessons, track progress, and stretch learners through structured questioning and scaffolding.

The role focuses on building confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning in a supportive, on-site environment. You will work part-time, 6 hours weekly across at least two weekdays, with additional opportunities as you progress.

Qualifications

• Proven tutoring experience with primary/secondary learners.
• Ability to plan and deliver sessions for mixed ages.
• Strong behaviour management and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored maths and English sessions to groups of up to 16.
• Build confidence and love of learning through engaging activities.
• Track progress and adapt sessions using Compass insights.
