Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland is recruiting for Assistant Dispatchers to join the Walk In Service in Moray, Elgin. The role involves coordinating clinical resources and supporting urgent primary care access for patients without appointments.

Successful applicants will work within a multidisciplinary team on a fixed-term contract of 12 months, with unsocial hour pay enhancements. The service operates 12:00–20:00 daily, including festive periods, in Elgin, Moray.

Qualifications

• Experience as a healthcare support worker is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate use of clinical resources for the Walk In Service.
• Support the service during 12:00–20:00, Monday to Sunday.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and liaise with the public and other departments.
