Job summary

Jones Bros Ltd in Wales is seeking a Regional Health & Safety Manager to lead the regional HSE function across multiple projects. You will report to the Senior HSE Manager and collaborate with Contracts Directors and site teams to ensure robust safety management.

The role requires NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH status and strong leadership, communication, and risk management skills. A UK driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) required and working towards next qualification.
• IOSH certification; working towards chartered status.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites across the region, including overnight stays.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience managing people, performance and client relationships.
• Strong communication skills for reports, investigations and meetings.
• Experience with risk assessments, method statements and HSE documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional HSE requirements including clients, workforce and contractor needs.
• Build and lead a regional HSE team supporting all projects.
• Line management of regional HSE advisors; set priorities and track progress.
• Develop and maintain HSE management plans (PMP, CPP, KPI, RAMS, briefings).
• Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks and behavioural safety programs.
• Provide specialist technical input to project issues with planning and risk management.
• Review projects to identify risks and share learnings with regional teams.
• Oversee incident management, investigations and compliance audits.
