Job summary

Making Space (Warrington) is seeking a part-time Support Worker for waking nights at Bluebell Lane in Knowsley (L36 7XY). You will support adults with LD, dementia, mental health and other needs in a person-centred way, helping residents stay involved in care decisions and develop new skills.

This on-site role offers a competitive hourly rate of £13.12 and alternating night shifts. DBS checks apply, with on-going training and opportunities for professional qualifications within the social care

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification with experience supporting people with mental health needs, managing crisis situations and administering medication.
• Good communication and IT skills; experience using Nourish Care and Sharepoint.
• On joining Making Space you will have on‑the‑job training and opportunities for professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and support personal care tasks for residents.
• Conduct security checks and assist with domestic tasks.
• Support residents to be involved in all care decisions and develop new skills.
• Work waking nights as part of a supportive team and engage in training.
