Job summary

CareTech UK Ltd is hiring a Waking Night Support Worker (Female) in Oldham to provide person-centred support for adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. The role is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) on a rota basis, with a pay rate of £13.29 per hour and a DBS check funded by CareTech.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills
• Basic IT and written abilities required
• Able to work unsocial hours on a rota basis
• Experience supporting adults with Autism/LD/Complex Needs is beneficial
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)
• Driver(s) preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support per individual care plans
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing
• Support activities, appointments and community access
• Maintain accurate records and work as part of a team
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins
