Job summary

CareTech in Bury is seeking dedicated Support Workers to join Milbourne Road service, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. This permanent, full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week on a rota and an hourly rate of £12.79 plus £78.30 per sleep-in.

You will deliver person-centred support, help with daily living skills, promote wellbeing, and work evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Enhanced DBS is required; visa restrictions may apply.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech).
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Good communication skills and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
• Support activities, appointments, and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.
