Waking Night Support Worker

Location:Inverurie
Hourly Rate:£13.45
Hours:Full-time (39 hours per week)

About the Role

In ourInverurieservice, Support Workers help individuals with a wide range of needs to lead enriched and independent lives. This includes:

  • Supporting individuals overnight in their homes
  • Ensuring the safety and security of service users and the property
  • Providing personal care and support with medication (full training provided)
  • Moving and handling
  • Promoting independence and helping individuals achieve their personal goals
Who We Support

The people we support in Inverurie have varied support needs, including:

  • Learning disabilities
  • Autism (including Fragile-X)
  • Epilepsy
  • Down Syndrome
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Mental health conditions

Some individuals may displaychallenging behaviour, including verbal or physical incidents and self-injurious behaviour.Experience in this area is required.Experiencewith de-escalation techniques and Positive Behaviour Support Plans, is highly desirable. Full training is provided.

Shifts and Flexibility

Shifts include:

  • 9pm-8am
  • 10pm-8am

Additional Requirements
  • Drivers preferred: Due to limited public transport during shift times, having a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is strongly preferred.

  • Shadow shiftswill be completed before fully starting, tailored to your experience level.
