Health Your Way is seeking a Personal/Home Care Assistant to join a family care team in Cheadle Hulme for waking night shifts. You will support a 25-year-old client with severe physical disability at home, including personal care and transfers.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and confidence driving a large automatic van. Experience with hoists, BiPAP, and manual handling is important; a good sense of humour helps in daily life and activities.

Qualifications

• Care background required with experience in handling and supporting a person with complex needs.
• Experience using a hoist and BiPAP equipment is essential.
• Manual handling certification is desirable; you must be fit to support mobility and transfers.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care and support during waking nights.
• Assist with mobility using hoist and reposition as needed.
• Support daily activities such as driving him to events, gaming, or social activities.
• Maintain privacy, confidentiality, and respectful communication.
• Demonstrate a good sense of humour while providing care.
