Parador Group in the Manchester area is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to provide dedicated one-to-one support for a male client in Wythenshawe. You will assist with mobility, personal care, meals and daily activities, following an established care plan and reporting changes to the nurse and family.

The role offers full training, clinical oversight, and a rota-based schedule (days and nights).

Qualifications

• Compassionate and person-centred care experience preferred.
• Strong communication with client, family and healthcare professionals.
• Calm, patient, and confident approach.
• Driver with UK licence preferred (25+ for business insurance).
• Experience using ceiling hoists is desirable.

We are looking for compassionate Personal Care Assistants providing dedicated one-to-one support for a male client in Wythenshawe, Manchester.
The client is a disabled adult who is unable to walk. The role involves hands-on support with mobility, transfers, and daily activities, delivered in line with an established care plan.
This is a rewarding role supporting daily routines, personal care and medication. You will play a key role in promoting the client’s independence, safety, and overall wellbeing

Client Health Needs:

The client lives with complex medical needs, including:

Limited vision one eye

Wheelchair user

Slurred speech

Epilepsy

Personal Care

Key Responsibilities

Deliver consistent, person-centred care in line with the client’s care plan

Support independence and encourage engagement

Assist with meal preparation and support with eating

Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals

Ensure the client’s environment is safe, calm, and supportive always

Flexibility to preferably work both days and nights

Requirements

Preferably with experience supporting individuals with complex health needs

Calm, confident, and patient approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferably be a driver with a UK driving licence (25 years old plus for business insurance purposes)

Experience using a ceiling hoist

Supportive and friendly working environment

Full training and clinical oversight from a registered nurse
