Job summary

CCH Group in Kettering is seeking caring professionals to support a young, non-verbal gentleman with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. The role involves daytime outings and days out, with a daytime driver required for activities such as visits to space centres, country parks and castles.

You will provide personal care, assist with PEG feeds, and monitor hourly observations; night shifts may involve ventilator monitoring. Full training is provided and DBS checks are covered.

Qualifications

• Full training will be provided but experience in a complex care setting is advantageous.
• Knowledge of neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy and epilepsy is beneficial.
• Background with PEG feeds and non-invasive ventilators would enhance application.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support for a non-verbal client with cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
• Administer medication and PEG feeds; make hourly observations.
• Assist with night-time ventilator monitoring; accompany on outings and activities.
• Support driving to ensure access to trips and day-out visits.
