Job summary

City and County Healthcare Group Ltd is recruiting a Care Assistant to support a gentleman with a C4 spinal injury at home. You will assist with mobility, personal care, and fostering independence, including monitoring a suprapubic catheter and autonomic dysreflexia.

You will join a small team for day and night shifts in a geographic area with limited public transport. A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required. Pay rates: days £13.75, nights £14.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Mobility support for the client
• Personal care including catheter care
• Bowel management
• Assistance with day-to-day activities at home and at work (e.g., sending emails on his behalf)
• Administering medication
