Agincare is seeking a Children's Residential Support Worker for waking nights in Salisbury. You will join a caring team delivering overnight support to children in a new, not-for-profit home designed to feel safe and empowering for up to three children.

We offer 40-hour weeks, with shifts from 10:00pm to 8:00am, and benefits including pension, DBS fees covered, and ongoing training. Prior experience is welcome but not essential, as full training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with children with complex needs is welcomed but not essential.
• Willingness to undertake full training and ongoing support.
• NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or willing to work towards)

Responsabilités

• Building positive and trusting relationships with children and young people.
• Supporting evening, bedtime, and settling routines.
• Promoting independence and helping children develop essential life skills.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide a safe, nurturing environment.
• Supporting care plans, daily routines, and risk assessments (full training provided).
• Monitoring children's wellbeing throughout the night.
• Carrying out hourly welfare and administrative checks.
• Completing light domestic duties to maintain a comfortable and welcoming home environment
