National Star is recruiting a Specialist Care and Support Worker for waking nights in Hereford. The role offers up to 37 hours per week, with both part-time and full-time options, and pays £14.39–£18.52 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in care and support role, ideally with complex disabilities.
• Ability to provide high-quality person-centred care.
• Comfort with personal care and maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Willingness to work waking nights and alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality person-centred care and support.
• Support with personal care, daily living and health needs.
• Use specialist equipment such as hoists and wheelchairs.
• Support learning, independence and life skills development.
• Work closely with therapists, nurses, tutors and colleagues.
• Accurately record care, progress and achievements.
