Job summary

SWAAY in Bracknell is seeking a dedicated Waking Night Worker to support vulnerable young people in our residential homes. You will work 10.30pm–8.30am on a two-week rolling rota, maintaining a safe, nurturing environment and recording night-time movements and safeguarding concerns.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare is desirable
• We will fund and support you to achieve it
• Experience in residential childcare or desire to start a meaningful career

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing home environment
• Supervise and record movements and activities during the night
• Promote and safeguard the health and wellbeing of each child
• Work in line with risk assessments
• Recognise, respond to and accurately report/record any safeguarding concerns
