Area Camden is recruiting a Qualified Waking Night Support Worker to provide safe, night-time care for young people. You will stay awake, support routines, and record handovers while safeguarding every child’s welfare.

We offer a fixed 12‑hour-night rota, comprehensive induction, training, pension, and funded qualification support. Successful applicants will undergo a DBS check and join a committed, equal‑opportunity team.

Qualifications

• Understand safeguarding and how to protect children.
• Able to follow delegated tasks and produce clear, detailed handovers.
• Experience or willingness to work night shifts and stay awake.

Responsabilités

• Stay awake and alert during the 12‑hour night shift to ensure safety.
• Provide calm, soothing support and assist with nightly routines.
• Keep accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.
• Communicate with out-of-hours services and maintain handovers.
• Adhere to Area Camden policies and act as a positive role model.
