Spark of Genius Hartburn is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker to assist children and young people in a safe, nurturing residential setting. You will help with routines, meals, activities and record-keeping to ensure high-quality care.

No prior care experience is required; transferable skills from retail, hospitality or education are welcomed, with full training provided and DBS checks completed as standard.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with daily routines, getting ready for school, preparing meals and planning activities.
• Create a warm, homely environment with light housekeeping.
• Build positive relationships and provide emotional support.
• Plan and participate in activities such as outdoor trips and creative sessions.
• Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.
• Use electronic care recording systems daily; training will be provided.
