Job summary

Keys Group in Warrington is seeking a compassionate Waking Nights Support Worker to join our children's residential home, supporting young people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.

You will provide a calm, safe overnight environment, build trusting relationships, and offer reassurance during challenging moments. The role involves personal care when required and night checks.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or transferable skills (e.g. support work, education, police, ex-forces).
• A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people.
• Good communication skills (Makaton or BSL desirable).
• Caring, patient, and resilient approach.
• Flexibility to work a rolling shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, supportive environment throughout the night.
• Promote the wellbeing and comfort of young people.
• Offer emotional support during difficult situations.
• Complete night checks, records, and reports.
• Support with personal care where required.
