Hft in the United Kingdom is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker to ensure a calm, reassuring environment during the night. You will support learning-disabled adults to feel safe, maintain routines, and wake ready to live the day they choose.

The role focuses on independence, dignity, and collaboration with day teams, with DBS/background checks required. Experience in social care is welcome but not essential; attitude and values matter most.

Formación

• Willingness to learn and work toward a Health and Social Care qualification.
• Strong communication and people-skills for building trust with individuals.

• Provide night-time support with calm, person-centred care.
• Respond to needs with reassurance and assist with personal care.
• Carry out night routines with kindness and respect to promote independence.
• Monitor wellbeing and report concerns to daytime team for continuity.
• Promote independence and confidence in night-time routines.
