Job summary

CJP Outreach is recruiting a Waking Night Support Worker to provide compassionate, person-centred care for J, a gentleman with cerebral palsy and autism, in his home and community. This role offers the chance to build a new support team from the ground up and to help establish consistent routines.

You will work nights, supporting J's evenings and overnight routines, while promoting independence and dignity. Full training is provided and prior care experience is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving license is essential.
• Caring and reliable nature with a positive approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support J with evening and overnight routines.
• Provide reassurance and support throughout the night.
• Promote J's independence and dignity.
• Build a positive, supportive relationship with J.
• Support J's needs during waking night shifts.
• Collaborate with colleagues and the wider support team.
• Deliver consistent, person-centred support.
