CareTech in Bromsgrove is seeking resilient Waking Support Workers to join King George Close, a residential service for young people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You will work a 35-hour rota-based week supporting individuals to develop independence. No previous experience?

Qualifications

• Willingness to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred practice.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism or mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support in line with individual plans.
• Build trusting and professional relationships.
• Support individuals during periods of emotional distress.
• Follow Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Support with appointments, activities, and community access.
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively within a team.
