Job summary

Real Life Options is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker in Glasgow to provide person-centred support during night shifts. The role involves physical and emotional support, helping individuals live independently and engage with the community.

You will join a caring team, coordinating with health professionals and family members, while maintaining accurate records and carrying out risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as part of a team and lone working; take initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Enhanced PVG required (we will support the application process)

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with personal care, medication, cooking, and household tasks.
• Enable involvement in the local community and promote independence.
• Support with making and attending health care appointments.
• Communicate with medical professionals and implement support plans and risk assessments.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of support provided.
• Communicate effectively with the team, family members.
• Work independently and as part of a supportive team.
• Manual handling.
