Job summary

Dimensions is hiring a Waking Night Support Worker for our residential home in Angmering, Littlehampton. The role runs from 10pm to 8am, offering a full-time opportunity and a permanent contract.

You will support seven individuals with learning disabilities, ensuring a safe, calm, and dignified night-time environment. This role emphasizes person-centred care, lone working, and the use of basic IT for recording notes.

Qualifications

• Caring, reliable individual with a calm and thoughtful approach.
• Comfortable with personal care and lone working.
• Confident using basic IT systems for record-keeping.
• Committed to delivering person-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Checking on individuals at regular intervals to ensure they’re comfortable and well
• Providing personal care when needed
• Carrying out household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
• Recording daily notes and incidents using our IT systems
• Ensuring the premises remains secure and safe throughout the night
