Job summary

Dimensions in Littlehampton is seeking a night-time support worker to assist seven residents with learning disabilities in a residential setting. The role covers 10pm to 8am, with full-time hours on-site.

You’ll provide comforting, dignified care during waking nights, monitor residents, and help maintain a calm, secure environment throughout the night. Training is provided and a not-for-profit ethos supports staff development.

Qualifications

• Caring, reliable individual with a calm and thoughtful approach.
• Comfortable with personal care and lone working.
• Good IT literacy for basic record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Check on individuals at regular intervals to ensure comfort and safety.
• Provide personal care when needed.
• Carry out household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Record daily notes and incidents using IT systems.
• Ensure premises remain secure and safe throughout the night.
