Job summary

Dimensions is recruiting a Female Waking Night Support Worker to help three women who live together in a supported-living bungalow in Reedham. The role involves staying awake during the night to ensure safety, comfort and a calm overnight routine.

You will perform light tasks, personal care and night monitoring with shifts 9:30pm–8:00am, 3 nights one week and 4 nights the next, including every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Calm, patient and attentive approach required.
• Ability to offer reassurance in a quiet, low-stimulus environment.
• Willingness to complete the Care Certificate on day shifts before nights.

Responsibilities

• Light household tasks (sweeping, mopping, kitchen/bathroom cleaning).
• Personal care and dignified overnight support.
• Assistance if anyone wakes during the night.
• Support bedtime routines and monitor wellbeing throughout the night.
• Work as waking night, staying awake to ensure safety and comfort.
