East Sussex County Council in Hailsham is seeking Waking Night Support Workers to join a new Supported Living service. You will work with adults with learning disabilities to help them realise their potential and live their best life.

Hours: 21:45pm - 07:45am; 20-30 hours per week. We value life skills and a positive attitude and provide training and development, with DBS checks and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with individuals, families and professionals.
• Work well in a team and on own initiative, knowing when to seek guidance.
• Meet travel requirements for the post.

Responsibilities

We are a new Supported Living service in Hailsham and want dedicated people to join us. We are looking for x3 Waking Night Support Workers, with hours varying from 20-30 hours. Your role will involve working alongside adults with a learning disability to help them to realise their potential, live life to the full, build independent skills and live their best life. The role is varied, no two days will be the same.

Waking Night Support Worker hours are 21:45pm - 07:45am.

We Are Looking For Candidates Who

• Ability to provide support in a person-centred way, demonstrating respect, kindness and sensitivity at all times with all aspects of their care needs
• Can communicate both verbally and in written form with the individuals we support, and other professionals/ families involved in their care
• Able to work in a team and independently, using their initiative and know when to seek further guidance from others
• Able to meet the travel requirements for the post
