About Community Integrated Care

Community Integrated Care is one of the UK's largest social care charities, supporting thousands of people to live independently and thrive in their communities.

Since 1988, we have been at the forefront of person-centred care, helping people move away from institutional living and into homes where they can enjoy greater choice, dignity and opportunity.

Today, with over 6,600 colleagues across England and Scotland, we continue to lead the way - finding new, creative and impactful ways to improve lives every day.

This service is home to 10 adults aged between 18 and 75, each living in their own apartment within a welcoming supported living community in Hailsham. The people we support have a variety of needs, including learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, dementia, and mobility difficulties.

What makes their home so special is the sense of belonging. People here describe themselves as a family, supporting one another, celebrating achievements together, and working towards individual goals with the help of a caring and dedicated team. Whether it's learning a new daily living skill, preparing a meal independently, attending a community event, or planning a holiday, every achievement matters.

Life at Burfield Court is active and varied. Some people enjoy arts and crafts, baking, gaming, radio broadcasting, healthy eating, exercise and gardening. Others love community events, cinema trips, cafés, swimming, football, theatre shows, fundraising activities, and spending time with friends. The service has a strong presence in the local community and is passionate about helping people feel connected and included.

Located in the heart of Hailsham, it offers easy access to shops, cafés, community facilities, leisure activities and excellent transport links. There are always opportunities to explore, learn something new, and build meaningful connections.

You'll be supporting people on a 1:1 basis and as part of group activities, helping the people we support to achieve their goals, develop independence and live fulfilling lives. Whether you're supporting someone to attend a local event, build confidence with cooking, or make the most of opportunities in their community, you'll play an important role in helping them achieve their own version of a Best Life Possible.

You'll also become part of a warm, supportive staff team who are passionate about quality support and enjoy welcoming new colleagues.

  • Participating in sleep-in shifts as part of the service rota
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide outstanding support
    What We're Looking For
