Job summary

CareTech in Fareham is recruiting a Waking Night Support Worker to provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

You will work a rota including nights, evenings and weekends, support daily living skills, maintain records, and help people maintain independence. Full training and a structured induction are provided, with DBS checks and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• We are seeking caring, patient and respectful individuals with a positive and resilient approach.
• Confident working independently and within a team with good communication, basic IT and written abilities, and reliability.
• No previous care experience? We provide full training and a structured induction programme.
• Willingness to work towards Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis.
• DBS check is enhanced and paid for by CareTech.

Permanent | Full-time | 30 hours per week (rota-based)

About the Service - Park Lane

Park Lane is a five bedded residential care home, located on the outskirts of Fareham, a market town at the northwest tip of Portsmouth Harbour, between the cities of Portsmouth and Southampton in south east Hampshire.

The town can be accessed by rail or road links via the M27 and A27. Fareham is a modern and thriving town, offering a gateway to a wealth of social, vocational and educational opportunities.

Park Lane supports men and women with complex or enduring mental health disorders who have

demonstrated the ability to gain further independence and functionality in a community setting.

The Role

You will:

Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
