Job summary

Real Life Options is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker in Elgin to provide overnight care, ensuring safety and comfort for individuals in their own homes. You will work a 3 on 3 off rota, 35 hours per week, earning £13.45 per hour and joining a compassionate team.

No two nights are the same; duties include personal care, monitoring wellbeing, recording notes, supporting independence, and responding to emergencies. PVG check required; comprehensive training and career development are provided.

What Your Night Will Look Like

No two nights are the same, but your role will include:

• Providing overnight support, including personal care where required
• Monitoring wellbeing and ensuring a safe, calm environment
• Administering medication in line with support plans
• Completing regular checks and accurate record-keeping
• Responding to any needs or emergencies with confidence and care
• Supporting individuals to maintain their independence and dignity

You’ll work independently during the night, with the reassurance of being part of a wider, supportive team.

Important Information

This role is Regulated Work with Vulnerable Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. A PVG check is required.
