Job summary
CareTech is recruiting a Waking Night Support Worker for our Cedar Bungalows service in Hothfield, near Ashford. The role provides person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs, including overnight shifts.
You’ll work to individual support plans, promoting independence and wellbeing, while maintaining records and collaborating with a supportive team. We offer full training, enhanced DBS paid for by CareTech, and a range of benefits.

- Support activities, appointments, and community access
- Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team
- Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins

Rate: £13.54 per hour
Permanent | Full-time | 37.5 hours per week

Cedar Bungalows in Hothfield specialises in adults with learning difficulties, autism and mental health. Currently Cedars Bungalow supports 4 service users, who enjoy its beautiful location and surroundings. Cedars boasts a large garden and each bungalow offers spacious rooms with lots of light. The service users enjoy days out such as horse carriage riding, the local community and they benefit from a fabulous team.

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable.
No previous experience? No problem! If you have the passion, we’ll provide full training and a structured induction programme.
