Paragon Social Care Limited is recruiting for a Waking Night Residential Support Worker for a brand-new two-bed children's home near Spalding. You will work average 35 hours per week on waking night shifts, supporting up to two young people with a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach.

The role focuses on keeping the night safe, calm and well supported, with opportunities for training, progression and ongoing development within children’s residential care.

Qualifications

• Experience in children’s residential care is desirable, especially with EBD/SEMH/trauma or complex needs.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare would be advantageous.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Remain awake and available throughout the night.
• Support young people who wake or need reassurance.
• Respond calmly to emotional or behavioural difficulties.
• Promote a safe and settled nighttime environment.
• Complete regular checks per care plans and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate records and handovers.
• Support safeguarding within the home.
• Prepare the home for the morning.
• Work closely with day staff and management team.
• Help ensure the home remains safe, clean and organized overnight.
