Active Care Group is seeking a Waking Night Children's Support Worker in Southend-on-Sea to provide overnight care for a young client with complex health needs. The role involves 12-hour night shifts (2 or 3 nights per rotation) and ongoing support within the family home.

Full induction training is provided, with a focus on epilepsy, dystonia and neurological impairment support. The role is offered on a full-time contract with opportunities for career development within Active Care Group.

Formación

• Experience in care or support work preferred.
• Ability to stay awake during night shifts.
• Willingness to undergo DBS check and safeguarding training.

Responsabilidades

• Follow care plans and support health needs (epilepsy, dystonia, wheelchair use, etc.).
• Coordinate with the care team and participate in regular rotas.

Our client's health needs include epilepsy, dystonia, neurological impairment, developmental delay, wheelchair user and visual impairment.You will be required to stay awake overnight to support the client with all their needs. Full specialist training will be provided.**Shifts:*** **Waking Nights*** **12 hour shifts*** **2 nights (24 hours) or 3 nights available (36 hours)**In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance.
