Active Assistance is seeking compassionate care workers to support a young client with complex health needs at their family home in Leigh-on-Sea overnight. This is a 12-hour waking night shift with options for 2 or 3 nights per week, depending on rota.

Full specialist training will be provided, with ongoing support from a clinical and leadership team. A zero-hours contract offers flexible, ongoing work.

What you’ll be doing:

We are expanding our client base and have a new client in Leigh-on-Sea. This role is to support our new young client with complex health needs in their family home overnight. Our client’s health needs include epilepsy, dystonia, neurological impairment, developmental delay, wheelchair user and visual impairment. You will be required to stay awake overnight to support the client with all their needs. Full specialist training will be provided.

Shifts:

Waking Nights 12 hour shifts 2 nights (24 hours) or 3 nights available (36 hours).

In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client.
